Now what got ME is how the CHRISTIAN metal band (from Oklahoma...that has a reputation for sounding like Metallica, mostly due to original singer Joe Chambless' vocal style. Eternal Decision's self-titled CD from 1997 has been seen ALL OVER the web-but was supposively Metallica's 2008 DEMO CD. I'll be damned if it didn't have me fooled. I'll be DAMNED if the Singer doesn't sound a LOT like James Hetfield. On their second CD they added a second vocalist which helped to get them away from the Metallica label. However, their first two CDs are both groove-laden heavy metal with some thrash influences. By their third CD they had begun to follow trends and started sounding more like the nu-metal, alternative radio-oriented garbage. At that point I lost interest. For those of you who like early Metallica & Pantera,I "GUARAN-DAMN-TEE" you that you'll like this blazing first self-titled CD from Eternal Decision. Now Stryper was good (the BEST Christian Metal I'd ever heard up untill this CD),but they're not even in the same GENRE as Eternal Decision. Here's the link where you can d/l the CD & see 4/yourself:
